Dave, who leads the team, has cleaned roofs since 2004.

For roof pressure washing, we use water heated to about 150°C at 50 to 60 bar, applied downwards. We never use a cold jet wash. These are our own working settings; the team checks each roof, including its manufacturer's guidance, before using them.
Forceful cleaning can damage tile surfaces and push water beneath overlapping tiles. That is why the team checks your roof and its product guidance before proposing roof pressure washing, and why it is never a cold jet wash.
Whether it suits your roof still depends on the covering and its condition.
Red clay interlocking tiles and the ridge above them.
How does hot low-pressure steam work?
Hot, low-pressure steam cleans your roof with heated water at controlled pressure, directed downwards. A temperature or pressure figure alone does not show that a roof is suitable.
Ridge tiles, hip tiles, valleys, verges and gutters are checked on every roof. Ridges are the top joins, hips are the sloping joins, and verges are the roof edges.
If our team damages your roof while cleaning, the repairs are included. Existing defects are considered separately when the team looks at your roof.
Which roofs are suitable for steam cleaning?
Roof pressure washing suits natural slate and modern clay tiles, once the team has checked the covering, its condition, access and the manufacturer's guidance.
When should a roof not be pressure washed?
Proposed work is declined or postponed when the roof condition, access or relevant manufacturer guidance makes it unsuitable.
Our team uses ladders, roof ladders and mobile towers, with a cherry picker when the job requires one. Any cherry picker or scaffolding charge is extra and shown in the written quote.
Artificial slate can look worse after cleaning. We discuss that risk with you before any work.
We never cold call; we check for nesting birds and bats first and stop if we find them; we check cement slates for asbestos before any work.

Dave and his team did a really good job cleaning our roof. Dave came out first to have a look and provide a quote, and the work was booked in for a week or two later. They steam cleaned the roof and then applied a treatment, as well as cleaning all the gutters and treating the patio. They also tidied everything up properly before they left. The roof looks fantastic and almost like new. Really happy with the work and would happily recommend Dave and his team.

Dave and his team did a fantastic job removing the moss from our entire roof. They arrived on time, worked incredibly hard throughout the day, and I was very impressed with their work ethic. They took extra care working around our solar panels, which we really appreciated, and completed the job to a very high standard. They also tidied up thoroughly and left our driveway exactly as they found it. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dave and his team. Thank you again!
