Which cookies are used?

The public pages and the enquiry endpoint use no cookies, and no analytics service is connected. There are no advertising or optional analytics cookies to accept.

After the server accepts an enquiry, your browser stores a temporary flag called mms-enquiry-receipt in session storage. It contains no enquiry details. The confirmation page removes it when it reads it; otherwise it normally lasts for the browser tab’s session. It is used only to show whether that visit followed an accepted enquiry.

When staff sign in, the staff-only upload page uses the necessary mms_upload cookie to keep their session. It applies only to /upload/. The cookie is restricted to secure connections, cannot be read by page scripts and is not sent with cross-site requests. These protections are known as Secure, HttpOnly and SameSite=Strict.

The staff sign-in becomes unusable after two hours without activity or when the staff member signs out. The cookie itself is a browser-session cookie, normally removed when that browser session ends; signing out clears it. Browser session-restoration settings can affect when session data is removed. Blocking this cookie prevents staff sign-in.

How can you change your choices?

There are no optional cookies to switch on or off. You can block cookies or clear this website’s stored data in your browser settings. If you clear the temporary receipt flag before the confirmation page opens, that page cannot confirm your enquiry. Call 01483 387251 before submitting again if you are unsure whether an enquiry arrived.

Clearing or blocking the staff session cookie may require staff to sign in again. It does not delete an enquiry or job record already saved on the server. Contact us about those records using the privacy or data-rights pages.

Checks of the hosted public pages and staff sign-in on 16 October 2026 found only the storage described above. If optional storage or analytics is introduced, this policy and the required choices will be updated first.
